They have a good attitude and make you feel safe and accepted when you’re with them, and that everything will be all right no matter how dark things may seem. We can’t help thinking of people recovery like a field of blooming blooming flowers. They may have been in the worst possible trouble, been devastated in every way: hit the bottom of the barrel of life. And yet, wherever they were, they climbed out. They found ways to change their environment and get the support and tools they need to regrow in a whole new field.
