Letter to self

Letter to self helps you become the person you needed when you were younger

Letter to self lets you take a few minutes to reflect on what you would have told yourself as a teenager. Would you have told yourself to be strong, to be patient, to avoid drugs and alcohol? Whatever it is, journal about it for a few minutes to see what comes up for you.

When would you write a letter to yourself? We do it all the time to stay in touch with our feelings and to keep perspective about what’s really happening. Did you know that feelings are just feelings, and they don’t always reflect the truth. Journaling is a fabulous way to get your feelings out on the page. Journaling is an exercise for the mind and it keeps you grounded. Take a few minutes in the morning or evening to think about all the things you needed to hear when you were young. Feed that inner child and let them know you did the best you could.
