Be the person you needed when you were younger
Self-reflection journal prompt! Take a few minutes today to reflect on what you would have told yourself as a teenager. Would you have told yourself to be strong, to be patient, to avoid drugs and alcohol? Whatever it is, journal about it for a few minutes to see what comes up for you.
Journaling is a fabulous way to get your feelings out on the page. Journaling is an exercise for the mind and it keeps you grounded. Take a few minutes in the morning or evening to think about all the things you needed to hear when you were young. Feed that inner child and let them know you did the best you could.
