Arguing with a narcissist is a recipe for frustration

We’ve had plenty of experiences with narcissists over the years, so we know all too well what it sounds like to find yourself up against an arguing narcissist. In order to prevent this situation, because you will never win an argument with a narcissist, we put together some examples so you can see what it sounds like.

Narcissists live in their fantasies, where they are the sole hero. In these fantasies, they are “perfect” and all-knowing. Everyone around them is at their mercy. This narcissist knows just how to justify his/her own poor behavior, which makes it nearly impossible to rationalize with them. So, anyone who attempts to shatter this dream world is a threat. In order to avoid losing their delusion, narcissists do and say anything to maintain their world.

Maintaining any form of relationship with a narcissist can be dangerous. From growing up in a narcissistic family to finding yourself in a relationship with one, it’s important to know how to protect yourself against their tactics. Once a narcissist has a hold on his/her victim, it can become difficult to find a way out, so be sure to proceed with caution. Get help from professionals.
